2016

Slightly terrified that 2017 is already happening to be honest but it is, so here I am reflecting on the last year. I genuinely giggled 12 months ago at the famous video of Kylie Jenner stating that 2016 was the year of "realising things" but I am now sadly convinced in relation to my own life she was 99% correct. I realised a lot about myself and people/things around me! I won't be a bore and go into details but I this year really reminded me of 16 year old me and my clothes/style back then. I've always loved fashion but for a while I feel like I lost my personal style and this year was the year that made me realise it and get it back on track.
Looking back on my favourite looks of 2016...

I really loved this look because I was so broke before Body and Soul and new clothes was the last thing I could afford so I dug into my wardrobe a got the jumpsuit out from 4 years ago (not sure how it still fit) I borrowed the kimono and it ended up being one of my fave festival looks of the summer!

I Kept it super simple on NYE with a €12.99 little black dress from H&M!
Despite all of the bad that went on in the world in 2016, I had a great year. I got a new job which I love and get to go to London with in the next few weeks (woop), I finally started this blog after years of being too afraid of what people might think, made some amazing memories with new and old friends, learned how to use my camera properly and got a new flash and booked to go and travel around Asia for 8 weeks next June! So I am super excited to see what 2017 has to offer, I am not really one for resolutions because does anyone ever stick to them? But I guess my biggest aims are to keep happy and healthy, run more, do more yoga, take more photos, maybe transition from veggie to vegan, think more about the environment and how simple things can make a change, laugh a lot, keep blogging, pass college & Have a good time!
Happy new year!
